Does my oral hygiene routine need to change because of braces?

Patients need to spend more time cleaning /brushing their teeth with braces. We recommend use of sonic brushes and waterpik for all patient undergoing orthodontic treatment with braces. Required oral hygiene for patients getting treated with Invisalign is the same as before the start of treatment as these patients can brush and floss easily.
